DEEDEE MCKINNEY
VICE President & CONTROLLER

Deedee M. McKinney serves as Vice President & Controller for SVN Elevate Real Estate, with oversight of the company's account and finance systems and activities. Prior to joining SVN Elevate, Deedee spent six years at Laramar Group, a privately held owner and manager of multi-family real estate. She served as a Senior Accounting Manager during which time she oversaw the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual property financial statements and overall accounting functions for assets totaling $715 million.

Prior to joining Laramar, Deedee served as Chief Financial Officer at CoreSite Realty Corporation, a data center real estate investment trust, during which time CoreSite completed their Initial Public Offering valued at $835 million. In addition, she was responsible for CoreSite’s accounting and financial activities.

Prior to her role at CoreSite, Deedee served as Vice President and Development Controller at ProLogis, a global industrial real estate investment trust. While at ProLogis, she oversaw an annual construction budget of $400 million and led the implementation of construction accounting systems for North America. She also served as a lead Transactions Associate as well as a Financial Analyst at ProLogis. In this capacity, she completed corporate and asset acquisitions totaling $260 million in North America and Europe.

Deedee began her career as an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP, working on corporate audits including large and mid-cap companies in data and communications sections. She is a Certified Public Accountant and received her B.S. in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
